About Vision to Victory

Counselling that begins with listening

Every individual is different. A course, career or life decision that works for one person may not be right for another. Dr. Mishra therefore believes that meaningful counselling begins with listening without judgement, asking the right questions and understanding the individuals unique context.

Whether someone is choosing a course, reconsidering a career direction, returning to learning, navigating professional transitions or seeking greater clarity about their strengths and possibilities, her objective is to help them make informed, confident and purposeful decisions.

Clarity. Confidence. Direction.

I believe that every individual is unique, and the right career is not simply found—it is thoughtfully built through self-awareness, informed choices and purposeful action.

My counselling approach is empathetic, evidence-based and outcome-focused, bringing together 35+ years of experience across academia, research, management, consulting and life coaching.

I combine structured psychometric assessments with meaningful one-to-one conversations to help clients:

Understand themselves
Identify their interests, strengths, abilities, personality and aspirations.

Explore possibilities
Discover academic, career and professional pathways aligned with their individual profile.

Make informed decisions
Evaluate options objectively rather than choosing based on pressure, trends or assumptions.

Create a roadmap
Translate clarity into practical goals, decisions and actionable next steps.

Move forward with confidence
Build the self-belief, adaptability and direction needed to navigate changing academic and career landscapes.

My goal is not to tell you what career to choose. It is to help you understand yourself better, see your possibilities clearly, and make decisions with confidence.

What You Can Expect From a Counselling Session

A counselling session is a conversation, not a judgement.

You will have a safe and supportive space to:

  • Talk openly about your concerns
  • Understand your strengths and interests
  • Explore realistic options
  • Clarify doubts and priorities
  • Understand the possible pathways ahead
  • Develop practical next steps

The aim is simple:

Less Confusion. More Clarity. Better Decisions.

From choosing the right stream to navigating a career transition, I support individuals through the decisions that shape their academic, professional and personal journeys.

School → College → Career → Growth → Transition → Reinvention

At every stage, the objective remains the same:
